Classes
We also offer weekend private baking and cake decorating classes for adults ranging from basic to advance techniques in all sugar medium. All classes are taught personally by Rosalind Chan.
Classes are limited in size and in the baking classes, students will be able to take home with them samples to share with their families and friends at the end of each class. Most importantly, the classes will equip you with the confidence and knowledge to bake and decorate cakes beautifully in the comfort of your own home.
Course: BASIC BAKING SKILLS & TECHNIQUES
Contents: This course is catered to the beginner or for a person who intend to perfect the essential baking techniques that will turn any recipe into a success. You will prepare and bake 3 recipes i.e. a delightfully moist chocolate and orange marble cake, a butter crust bread and an apple galette. All 3 recipes will be made from scratch and each student will be taking a sample of each recipe home with them to enjoy with their families or friends. Most importantly, this class will equip you with the confidence to bake beautifully at home.
Supplies: All supplies and ingredients will be provided. You will however be required to bring an apron, notebook and pen.
Class Size: Unfortunately, all classes are limited in number to 4 students per class to ensure that every participant receives individualized attention. A minimum number of two students are required in order to start a class.
All classes/workshops will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. Should interest levels exceed our registration capacity for any class, we will make every effort to schedule another class at a different date. If such a change occurs, we will notify you of this update and will make certain that anyone who was unable to register for the original class will be registered in priority sequence for the next one. We cannot guarantee that sending your registration form and payment will ensure your place. If a class has to be cancelled, your payment will be refunded in full.
If you cannot make it to the class/workshop for which you have registered, you may send someone in your place. We cannot, however, refund your money if you cannot attend.
Some classes will require additional tools/equipment. Once you have successfully registered for a class, I will give you a call to confirm your place.

Time: 9:30am to 4:30pm (weekends)
Cost: C$120.00 per person which includes all supplies and a light lunch.
More advance baking classes are available upon request and conditional upon minimum class requirement.
